Mirvac's Park At Warterfront - A New Benchmark in Apartment Living in Brisbane. Park is the second of six precincts that will form Waterfront, Newstead in a 20-year project to create a new community hub for central Brisbane. It’s a unique urban development with expansive parks, waterways and public facilities designed to be enjoyed by the whole community. Mirvac’s Queensland CEO Development, Matthew Wallace, says, “Mirvac aimed to have people sit up and take notice at the standard of living available at Waterfront, Newstead with the Pier precinct apartments. Park will continue the tradition of excellence while providing a greater variety of product which will have broader appeal to the general community.” One of Australia’s leading interior designers, Brisbane-based Anna Spiro from Black & Spiro, was commissioned to furnish and style the signature display apartment. Mr Wallace said Anna was selected because of her international reputation, enormous talent and also the fact she is based in New Farm. “We want to ground the development within the local area and use local businesses wherever we can so it made a lot of sense to commission Anna and her team,” he noted. Tipped to be one of Mirvac’s most talked-about displays, this design collaboration sees the teaming of the leading-edge apartment and interior designs that Mirvac is known for with the vibrant, progressive approach of Black and Spiro, to create a memorable experience and highlight the versatility of apartment living.
